Casper

Casper was found in a large plot, and one of our team members was able to capture him and bring him in. He is just a baby of 9  months old, and since being at the shelter, we have seen him completely transform from a rather scared and nervous pup to a vivacious socialite who, dare I say it, can be rather cheeky.

Casper is a really beautiful and larger, taller-sized podenco. He is good with other dogs and out with fees, and Jim and several others, and he loves to play. He enjoys cuddles and is continually searching for someone to hug. He would love an active home, maybe with children too, he could play with and share his affections with. He has been castrated and fully vaccinated. Casper has a passport and a microchip.

At the vet’s, he seemed interested in the cats around him without chasing, so perhaps if you are local with a cat and want to adopt, it would be possible to have a home trial. Some podencos are amazing with cats. If you look at Tony’s adoption news, he now lives with cats and Botas, his pal, is a podenco living with the cats, too.
