CARMEN NEEDS A FOREVER HOMEĀ

Carmen has arrived with us as her owner has to return to his home country to care for a sick family member. It’s heartbreaking for her and him, and we wish his family all the best. We would love to find her a forever home as soon as possible as it’s not her fault she is in the shelter, and shelter life is not easy for a lot of dogs, especially those that have been living in a comfortable home.
Carmen is 20 months old, so still a spring chicken, so to speak. Carmen went on a home trial, and while she is ok with some male dogs, she can be selective as to whom she likes, especially when out on a walk, so it would be best if she was rehomed in a pet-free home as she is not good with cats either. She adores people and rushes to greet everyone and would be much happier as an only dog who receives all of the human attention. She loves kids and would be a wonderful family dog. Carmen is clean in the house and great to walk on the leash.
Carmen is sterilised and has a passport and a microchip. She is fully vaccinated. We encourage you to come and meet her at the shelter in Benissa. We are open every day between 10.00-15.00 without the need for an appointment. She can travel to countries where we can provide rescue backup; please enquire for more information.
