Mango

Mango arrived with us during the summer, and you can see his story above in the video link posted. He is ten months old and searching for his first real home where he can know love and kindness. He would really benefit from living with another dog who can act as a role model. Mango has never lived in a home, so he would need some training, but with time and patience, as we have already seen at the shelter, he learns fast and is opening up.

He likes to walk on the leash when with others. He is a little shy, but he has limited exposure to people. However, every day at the shelter, his confidence is growing. He has now been vaccinated. As mentioned in the video, many months ago, he had an injury where his leg was broken. It has healed now but in a manner in which his back leg is shorter than the other. We have sought two opinions from different vets, including a traumatologist who agreed it is not causing pain, and he has adapted to cope with this. Surgery would be painful, and no guarantee of success, so it is best to leave it as it is.
